These were awesome little stick-on alarms that were inexpensive and super loud. The doors had locks but having an extra alarm on them, and windows, just as an added alert made me feel safer. You can buy them on Amazon, a 4-pack for about $20 bucks.

Montana has a special app for your phone called MDT 511. It color codes road conditions based on the weather and was super handy for being up-to-date on road closures and alternative routes in bad weather.
